I think everyone wants to be sure it all counts.
I see the major streaming accounts say "we don't pre-order on itunes because the last few times we did they counted the pre-orders as sales for the dates when we pre-ordered instead of the date of the release". So we don't want to take any chances.

This is saying to not pre-order on iTunes. We should purchase on the day it comes out on ittunes.
