A FRIDAY THE 13TH tease from NECA...

The reality is that it was neither - just part of the process. So I've been working on washing away this false high-stakes finality from everything and just allowing my mind/soul/self to relax and trust the process.

And damn, its tough! But the little progress I've made instantly has felt better.

But what I've come to realize when I'm in a constant 'fight or flight' mode, little things become big disappointments. And so trying to do art, all setbacks felt like a defeat vs part of the process. it quite literally felt like something i needed to fight or run away from.

maybe it's just me, but I didn't realize how caught up in 'fight or flight' mode I was until I just sat with myself.

I've been trying to practice meaningful nothingness for a while, getting off the phone, less screen time, etc. - just being in the moment.
