Well, the wife is pretty happy I ordered in one of her favorites! #MariyaTakeuchi’s Variety is a top #JPop album, released in 1984 and a staple of her Karaoke repertoire. Most songs, including Plastic Love, are familiar to me too. This is the 2021 reissue.

The Godfather of Japanese bass players and one of the starts of #JapaneseJazz is surely #IsaoSuzuki. Here he is with one of his best albums, the Brazilian influenced Black Orpheus on #ThreeBlindMiceRecords.

All killer, no filler. The recent reissue of #MilesDavis’ KOB sextet “practice session” (same group, several months earlier) is a beauty. Originally released in Japan as 1958 Miles, the name changes to #BirthOfTheBlue. Nice job, #AnalogueProductions!
