One thing that has surprised me, getting back into IRL Magic: The Gathering in the last few years, is how LGBT-friendly the community has become.
I've met more trans people at my LGS (local game store) than at the queer bar where I went to trivia every week.
Foods can be bad for you because they're too calorie dense or have certain chemical additives or the macronutrient profile is not ideal or whatever but the problem is not the fact that processes in general occurred
The idea that every process you can subject foods to could possibly all be equally bad in the same kind of way is so obviously silly it's genuinely vicariously embarrassing to read

Now that the character generator beta for Eat God (penguinking.games/eat-god/eat-...) has been brought up to date with the latest draft, I'm especially curious what folks make of the full Creed rules and incorporation of the Random Quirks table, both of which were absent from previous prototypes.
My fist pick would be Relooted, I sunk 12 hours into it this year which is hard in a bad fatigue patch, and I just love all the characters and their mission and that they're basically a family. I know people love the idea of the game more than the game but look

I hold up Alpha Protocol as a game I loved enough to get every achievement in, but I consider it a tough sell.
It's a game you need to learn how to manipulate into working. You learn which weapons and abilities are over powered. You learn when you can stealth and when not.

this is legitimately insanely cool. it's an actually ethically trained neural network (they made all the input renders themselves! and it's open source!), and it does a common piece of frustrating busywork everyone hates better than every existing tool
