Wrapping up a week of vacation. Made a conscious effort to be less online this week and it was nice. Mowed the lawn for the first time this season. Listened to and read some books. And tomorrow I shall jump back in and tackle the sprint that is May.

Yeah, good point. We have a discount program via work, but the same service provider will have different prices across several booking platforms so I’m wondering if if all balances out at the counter or if there are real advantages. 🧐

One of Milwaukee’s major streets is being redone so the traffic pattern shifted. This AM I watched someone drive far longer than they should’ve in the now-wrong direction straight toward an incoming vehicle. They swerved at the last moment, but the confusing part was I was the only car that honked.

I did a very thorough check once she left me standing there alone. 👻

My kid did the thing tonight where she looked into a corner of my dark empty bedroom and said, “Huh, there’s a person in there,” and proceeded to describe their attire, before shrugging and walking back to her room. So if I don’t sleep for the next week, that’ll be why.
