What does need have to do with it?
Q&A: The Strait of Hormuz Q: What is The Strait of Hormuz? A: I don't know yet. I haven't had time to look it up. Q: Where is it located? A: Again, I haven't found that out yet but I'll probably have some time next week to do some research so hopefully I'll have more information then. Q: How many ships usually pass through it per annum? A: Hard to say. Probably a few. Q: What happens to the global economy if ships are unable to sail through it for weeks or months?? A: Not too sure. Q: Is there an alternative shipping route that could be used? A: Ok, I definitely made a mistake doing this Q&A before I had a chance to research the subject. I could ask my dad, I guess. He might know. Hang on. Ok, I asked my dad and he doesn't know either. He's useless at stuff like this. Q: Is this worse than the oil crisis of the 1970s? A: Hard to compare the two because I donβt know anything about either.
Okay, the Strait of Hormuz is in the news so just wanted to jump on quickly and do a Q&A about it. Hopefully this will answer some of the questions people are asking and maybe dispel some of the myths
How much provision for cycle parking is included?
Do it right, the Olympic Park did it wrong.

Also, for some utterly bizarre reason, his reputation is not being damaged. His supporter like home more because he raped, those who think he is despicable now always thought that.
But of course commuting shouldn't be a fitness regime, and we need to be wary of pushing the benefits as they may seem like barriers - it's hard work, you get all sweaty, you need special clothes. And of course ebikes help hugely here.
Yes, using miles on empty, open roads the denominator means you aren't comparing like with like. It just hides the problem.
In the UK, driving orgs use them when measuring pedestrian deaths, using the huge number of miles where there are no pedestrians in the calculation.
I quickly reached a fitness plateau from cycling (acoustic) 9 miles to work. It became easy, and getting fit is about working hard.
And ebikes are replacing car journeys, so there is an obvious health benefit to riders and every other road user.
You do have to pedal, the study is from Norway, where EAPCs mean the rider provides at least half the power.
You pedal more, because you go further. But children generally don't ride them at all.
Read the article! The study shows that ebikes mean no decrease in fitness. EAPCs mean the rider provides at least half the energy and riders are going more than twice as far.
0 is the only answer, unless you are a psychopath.

Graphic titled βWe think people using mobility aids should be allowed to get away from danger at running speedβ A young woman using a manual wheelchair with a power attachment is under a streetlight in the dark. There are a group of people standing just outside the light, looking threatening or at least intimidating. The womanβs eyes are wide with fright. At the bottom, hashtag MobilityJustice and the Wheels for Wellbeing logo
All Disabled people should be legally able to speed up to "running" or "cycling"-equivalent speeds to get out of danger, whatever mobility devices we're using, at all times of day and night, and wherever we are travelling.

I had a dependent who said they'd bought a blank firing pistol as a prop for a video. And that he never seen the same model one that had been converted. My gut said "bollocks", but the prosecution didn't ask any questions about it.
Indeed, getting the jury together was the least of the problems, there were 100s of us waiting. The problems causing the delay all happened before we got to court. The CPS was gutted in the name of Austerity and has not recovered.
If you are guilty trust a jury jury to acquit, if you are innocent trust a judge!
The problem I had when doing it was that the prosecution case was terrible. I felt the defendant was guilty, but couldn't offer a guilty verdict because key questions I had were unasked. And irrelevant points restated repeatedly.
You don't need to prove someone was lying to disbelieve their testimony. If what they say is implausible, you can disregard it as a defence.
Their legal system is completely different with their inquisitorial system versus our adversarial one.
