This is not an original statement, but it's also true for the OSINT industry.
You won’t be replaced by AI.
But you will be replaced by someone who knows how to use it — if you don’t.

I still don't understand the current trend of adding "INT" behind everything. Presenting data sources as it's own intelligence discipline is inaccurate, confusing and it weakens the integrity of the established intelligence disciplines.
Stop it. Please
Well said!

Thanks for compiling a list!
Vet tools, their output and ultimately the results before including anything in a report or jumping to a conclusion based on a tool's results. Ask around and see what others think of it. We are here to help each other!
If there's a general understanding in our community that a tool is good/useful/valuable I think it's fair to use that tool without fully understanding how it works. The reality is that very few people in this space have the technical skills and knowledge to understand how most of them work.
I don't understand why we need to push this idea that tool dependency = bad or that not understanding a tool 100% is bad. This is why we do tool vetting in the community and why we try to share valuable, vetted tools and resources from developers we trust.
I keep seeing this pop up, so I wanted to comment on it. Some people believe you shouldn't use an #osint tool unless you completely understand how it works. They also say being dependent on a tool you don't understand is dangerous and foolish.
Totally!
Breaking the Twitter habit was pretty hard, but seeing the growth of Bluesky makes me want to be more active here.
