I was on the fence about this book after finishing it but enjoyed the science. It was for my book club, and everyone else loved it so I finished the series. Book 2 was less of a hit with everyone and we all hated book 3 😂 The series gets more misogynistic as it goes on.

Demon Copperhead was one of my favorite reads last year!

The current version of the state budget is anti-health, anti-education, and anti-children. It will cut funds to everything from libraries, to schools, and even to food banks. House Republicans claim this is because we don’t have “enough money”.

This isn't getting the news coverage it should! #Ohio has some of the best library systems in the country. Libraries are not a luxury. They're a necessity.

#Ohio folks, please call your state representative and tell them to restore the Public Library Fund. Without it, rural libraries are pretty much screwed, and urban libraries are pretty screwed, too.

Then call the Speaker, Matt Huffman at (614) 466-6344 and ask him to do the same thing.
