Getting through all the paperwork to run is both easier and harder than I imagined. Like, I have the order of operations down, it's just DOING it that's giving me problems. Regardless, 11 days till registering to run is open, trying to stay on the ball.

Excited and a little daunted.

I know I'm one of the lucky ones, and not everyone in MAGA is willing or able to have any discussion at all on issues we face, but they do exist. We need to try to get them out of it.

Something many of us have to deal with is family members being in the MAGA Cult, my dad is one of these people. I love my dad to death, he's my hero. Our politics just don't align.

Today I told him I was running, and he was supportive.

Along with this, to ensure a representative delegation is sent to congress, switching off of First past the Post voting to Approval Vote or RCV can pull double duty and begin to break the two party system, as well as encourage less extreme candidates, since broad appeal would get more votes.

We all know how destructive Gerrymandering is to our democracy, and there's a simple solution that only takes one changed law.

Abolish districts and instead treat states like multi member districts. No districts to redraw means no Gerrymandering.

This is more America Last coming from the white house. We attacked Iran for Israel, and now thousands have and will continue to die for another forever war unless we resist it.

Trump has an America Last foreign policy, every single action he's taken on the world stage has isolated us and lost us friends for absolutely nothing. Blows my mind people think he's anything but America Last.

The flag is one I made myself. I love my home and I love my people, even if our history is an evil one we must confront.

We have no adequate symbols to represent ALL southerners, and I sure as hell am not going to fly the same flag the Klan does, so I made one.

Last year, we ran a 1.8B surplus

We have roughly 5k homeless people

The average cost to build a house here is 350k

We could have used that surplus to build a home for all but one homeless person here.

Tax breaks are nice, but helping the struggling is better.

Given the numbers from the last decade, it's a long shot that I will win, but I plan to give em hell and continue the fight if I manage to win or not.

My district has been uncontested for nearly a decade, and that's a failing I wish to remedy. Activism can't reach the ballot box if its uncontested.
