so yeah i will literally play the anime gacha version of mahjong if it means i don't have to click away ads every 3 minutes like what the apps i saw on play store seemed to do

the gambling part has gotta be my least hated part of gacha, considering it's probably the most honest part of the average gacha game at this point

as far as i'm concerned FOMO daily grinds, limited events and excessive grinds are more evil than a slot machine with a mutually understood zero payout

while i don't like gacha generally this doesn't seem to have any pay to win elements, the gacha is like all cosmetic from what i understand

+ it's just riichi mahjong so when it does the EOS (planned obsolescence my beloved) it's not like you'll miss any story or unique gameplay

had similar confusion about sen & cold steel with all the metal-esque terms making me think of the trains in the story but the english name at least is something of a double entendre because sen 閃 means a flash or glint of light
