If you need me this weekend I can be found under the covers cuddled up with Brie Sharkson.

βYou remember the fun we had when you poisoned me.β
Vincent Price, House on Haunted Hill
As Iβm almost home last night what do I remember? My jacket at work on the door. Luckily I had another jacket for this even colder morning. Now to not leave 2 jackets behind. π©
Yesterday morning it was chilly for the first time in months. So I wore a light jacket. As Iβm hanging it on the back of the door at work I tell myself, βit might not be sweater weather when you leave, donβt forget this here.β
Woman, seen from hips down, laying on bed in pink dress and black tights. A plush BMO computer from the Adventure Time cartoon sits on her thighs.
Anyone want to join us for an evening cuddle? BMO can even scoot over a little to make room on my lap. Donβt give my that look BMO, you promised you could move more than a millimeter.
No, we get a bunch of new baddies. Not sure though who they got to play the gang of Brazilians with machetes.

Sharon Stone and Colin Hanks chewed scenery as the villains. Overall a ridiculously fun revenge flick.
Saw Nobody 2 today. A stupid fun action film, if you liked the first itβs mainly more of the same. Bob is fantastic as dad bod John Wick, I liked that they gave the family some more depth, once again Christopher Lloyd steals every scene heβs in.

I found out about a series on YouTube called the Amazing Digital Circus this last week, and now Iβve watched all 6 episodes, some of them twice. I might have a new obsession.
This show is heartwarming and heartbreaking, funny, absurd, oh so tragic.
π I was 12 when this came out and I loved it then, not only all the fun gadgets and vehicles but to see Batgirl and Poison Ivy on screen. Probably the one Iβve rewatched the least in the years since. Can appreciate as a silly silver age type story.
𧑠a good budget monster movie with an amazing ensemble cast that pulls it together.
Because if thereβs one thing social media needs more of, itβs my bad movie opinions.

Woman in pink dress, laying on a bed, wearing black tights with silver glittery stars on the legs.
Todayβs cute socks, some fun new starry tights. β¨
1975 - More melodrama, more action, more dummies being sucked out windows. Lots of cheesy sfx and stereotypical characters.
1977 - Story, who needs a story, this is basically a feature length ad for US Navy rescue operations. Jack Lemmon was was surprisingly great, Christopher Lee deserved better.
Recently watched the first 3 Airport movies for the first time. Lot of typical disaster film tropes. A few thoughts:
1970 - Heavy on the melodrama, light on the disaster and action until late in the film. Overall enjoyable, maybe the one Iβd revisit again for sure.

Itβs not too hot out, only around 80, but the humidity is high. Got the grass cut then came in and had to strip off all my sweat soaked yard work clothes. Time to get comfy and enjoy the AC.

Yes, I watched the new War of the Worlds as it was meant to be seen. On my phone in a Discord chat so Amazon wonβt know I actually viewed it and my Prime algo isnβt affected by it. Seriously avoid this movie.

Welcome to August, the hot sweaty humid smelly armpit of the year. Only 2 things make this month tolerable; my birthday and the State Fair.
Glowing pink mini lamp in the shape of Hello Kittyβs head, sitting on a side table
The soft pink glow of Hello Kitty will comfort me tonight.
(Pic from earlier, power just came back, for now)
The email alert said restoration by 10:30 tonight, but thatβs right when the new storms might be hitting.
Storms blew through last night and home lost power around 8. It got my car out of the garage and went to work this morning. Power came back while I was gone. Now tonight itβs suddenly down again. Just what I wanted, another potentially stormy night in the dark, after a humid 87 degree day.
3 really felt like they were trying to tap into the 80s slasher genre and focused too much on gimmicks. Well now that Iβve seen them I can go back to never thinking nor talking about the Jaws sequels again.
So both 3 & Revenge tie for absolutely nonsensical story and characters behaving wildly stupid. I do think the effects and shark animatronic were better in Revenege.
