I mean yeah, I could run Parallels on the 8gb M1 when it came out. It was better than expected but still limiting. 16gb will save a bit of headache, but most folks are recommending a 24gb+ device now if you need to consistently run it.
Neat, will see how rollout goes, been holding to the Sept or October update since there wasn't much compelling me, and a few too many bugs reported online.
The range meter on the dash needed work in general, showing the max hypothetical range in ideal conditions is just pointless.
Seattle to Grand Canyon in my Mustang, solo fortunately, but I did have to sleep in it one night at a rest stop.
1000% I think a big contributor to the Lightning loss of sales was killing off the short range work trim. I don't think anyone can hit that original $40k Pro price point given everything going on, but seems like they could easily shave $10-15k off the price by dropping a lot of the features.
The touch features were at least slightly redeemable when presented as an option instead of default, AI isn't.
I've been having too much fun in Classic getting ready for TBC, still haven't bought Midnight, but the itch is getting worse.
Today is my birthday, and the best gift for me will be a retweet. My name is Vitalii. I am from Ukraine and open for commissions, so if you would like to get #SciFi artwork (spaceships, vehicles, dystopian future), I will gladly do this. You can contact me here or via valahor@gmail.com
Hopefully they also fix the keyboard while they're at it.
There's a lot of used/off lease EVs they'll be competing with, I get starting with a slightly higher trim as they ramp up but they'll have to make those lower cost ones available fast to drive volume.
Exactly, as an investor, they're just ceding the global market here. I really liked my Mach E, and once the dealers caught up things were pretty darn good. But they just stopped iterating, no battery rev after a few years is inexcusable, everyone leapt past them
We went to both parks after our Paris trip a few years ago. It was bizarre that they considered it a separate park, but at least to their credit, the combined ticket wasn't really a major cost difference. But sounds like lots more coming finally? Arendelle (Frozen) and others in the works
These are fantastic. I got the Enterprise, wasn't set on keeping it long term for display, but with a scale fleet, that could tip the scales. Nebula/Rhode Island would be on my list
The sequel I didn't know I needed, awesome work on this one.
And they've already had a first pass at it, most companies don't offer pensions anymore in lieu of 401k's.
Better than pulling a Halo and rewriting things, but I'm not holding my breath on this one.
I see you...
The energy monitor, that came out this year right? Very neat stats, unfortunately still haven't found time to test a few efficiency theories. Wish there was a better trip history still too.
Main one I'm waiting on is local music playback (given that Android Auto is a pipe dream).
Well that's a new one for me, crazy
3d printed model of a spaceship from the Homeworld 2 video game.
3d Printed a #Homeworld 2 model with my Prusa with some new matte filament I got. I knew I wouldn't get resin quality but I'm darn impressed by this.
Yeah I don't know what to think, 'if you aren't paying you are the product' and all.
That's great, I still have these in my music rotation, such fantastic stuff.
Extra painful because you can get the other Windows handhelds (I got an OG ROG Ally used) for so much cheaper. This new one just doesn't justify it's existence and additional cost, let alone vs the Steam Deck/Switch.
That was Infinite? They delivered an arguably ok, not great, base game and then just gave up on the whole premise.
Thank goodness #mariners
Wildstar was the only housing I ever got into, how was it comparatively?
This might just get me back to retail WoW...
Maybe that the Mariners game wasn't available OTA was a sign I should have skipped it...
I just sent a laptop in for repair, the hoops I jumped through to get a local temporary account was crazy and not something the avg user would do. The repair instructions actually said to just give the PIN for your main account which is 100% the wrong thing to do, but what most will end up doing.
If they were launching new "native" apps every month, it would be a different story, but they just can't possibly keep up with the ecosystem that Android Auto/CarPlay enables.
