I was moving stuff around and came across this box of old music someone gave me once. I've never gone through it--I only got a few pieces in when I found this absolutely insane delight of a cover and I had to share it.
But half the time they don't even do that. Democrats consistently keep voting for Republican bills and Trump nominees. Still. Even now.

Outrageously corrupt, prejudiced "science" from the NHS:
- Enforce one particular treatment pathway for years
- Rig your literature survey to exclude that pathway
- Declare that, amazingly, there is "no evidence" for any treatment pathway
- Ban the treatment
- Shrug as people suffer untreated
Did you know the City of Portland’s relatively robust lobbying regulations rely on self-reporting? Lobbyists are expected to register with the City, maintain records of their interactions with officials, and submit their records to the City. Not everything you might consider lobbying gets reported!
"That's not my problem" isn't rude when something isn't your problem. Someone else is being rude, to you, by trying to *make* it your problem.

The user above said they are nervous around Christians. That is a valid stance. That Christians are the broad majority in the US and enjoy special considerations and power only make that stance more valid.

When Massachusetts passed a "millionaires tax" in 2023, conservatives claimed the rich would flee.
But two years later, they haven't — and MA has collected $5.7B for infrastructure and public education.
A reminder that positive change can still happen at the state level.
A politician that doesn't fully support queer rights is a politician that doesn't receive support from me.
