Was feeling nostalgic so I re-watched all of What's New Scooby-Doo, while ranking each episode based on things like how good the mystery was, the effectiveness of the monster, atmosphere etc; Overall was a fun, solid time. If y'all got any takes that are similar/different please feel free to share.
Mortal Kombat The Chosen One - It's a fun beat em up with an impressively huge cast of playable characters. Though it's non beat em up segments and experimental boss fights can range from finicky to buggy to even frustrating. Granted it's still being worked on and the creators clearly passionate for it, so there's still room for growth. Also Midas and Tusk are best bros for life. Dungeons and Dragons - Unless you're really in the mood for a cheesy fun DND movie, I'd... personally suggest Mazes and Monsters, or the video made for the board game Dragon Strike. The two main villains are fun to follow at least. Uncle Walt - The myth of it was more entertaining than the short itself. That's about it really. Yu-Gi-Oh Waking the Dragons-Ceremonial Battle arcs - As a kid I didn't get the chance to finish the last few seasons of YGO, so I figured might as well. While these seasons def had flaws, it was still a sentimental trip. Switching to subs was def a good call too. Yu-Gi-Oh The Movie: Pyramid of Light - A fun guilty pleasure of a nostalgic movie. The backstab scene still stuns me to this day. Argoman The Fantastic Superman - A bland, drab ''superhero'' movie, with the one scene worth watching being removed in the version I saw with Skap. Just watch Vinesauce Vinny's video on it or the scene itself. Pinocchio's ''Sequel'' - Was just fine, though the highlights were easily when Skap yelled in joy over Pinocchio using his powers to save the day. Lucky Luke: The Ballad of the Daltons - Despite some... aged character designs, was a pretty fun series of vignettes set in a wacky, Euro take on the Wild West. Lycan Colony - It's kinda admirable in that it knows what it is while also trying to have this grand mythos to it. But it sort of falls apart at the end where things get real hairy. Garth Marenghi's Darkplace - It's peak fiction trust me Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds - Glad I was able to properly watch through this YGO series too. The first season and Crash Town arc were especially good.
I uh, whoops I procrastinated hard on this my bad folks. Would it be better to cover everything I've seen individually overtime? Or would monthly compilations like this be okay? Gonna give a short review for everything I've seen on the image itself so, just gotta click on it to see my takes on stuff
If you all want a better idea of what Lycan Colony is like just from going by cover, then this should do
So uh, if you wanna know what I've been consuming media wise this year this'd be the place.
Sorry about the last two messages folks. Was just trying to figure out how to do one of those threads where you cover pretty much everything you've seen/played this year. @skapokon.bsky.social gave me the idea and I kinda want to try it out myself.
Had this gif of Agnes Tachyon playing while listening to Trap Royalty by very cool tutorials, and it honestly felt like they synced near perfectly. It's a random combo, but still felt fitting with how grand and celebratory the scene is.

150. Popeye (2014/2022)
Demon Cop has an interesting concept buried in it, where the demonic, blood transferred curse affects people who experienced severe trauma. Like it's said this same case happened to someone in Poland during... a period in history. But the way the idea is delivered is so convoluted and muddled.
With it's crazy set design, it's weird to think that this was originally gonna be a plain horror film. But because the actor playing Funny Man made it a more comedic performance, they heavily retooled it to be horror comedy. With apparently some of the script getting tossed and replaced with improv
Great Bear Scares also been my most favorite thing to watch with you so far this October. It was short, simple, to the point and had some fun, endearing moments in it. Also shout outs to Wimpy Green Goblin that dudes great
My favorite character in this movie is the guy who's basically just Laugh Track: The Character. Why is he there? To be the laugh track. Nothing more nothing less.
It is one of the most Halloween-esque films we've seen so far this month. Like there's Jack O Lanterns and skeletons, the works. And again, this is supposed to be the Winter Beast.
Ah, sí.
Esta película.
Llamada "La bestia de invierno".
Ocurre en otoño.
Been also binging through the Sonic shows lately. Sonic Prime was astoundingly good, and Sonic Booms been pretty solid too, with some occasional moments that made me laugh but also caught me off guard as well.
Aside from the whole not having a channel and still waiting for my appeal to be seen thing, stuffs been going okay. Hope it's been that way for you all too.
Oh yeah, and I watched this movie with my girlfriend as today was her birthday and she wanted to do something with me to celebrate.
Happy birthday, @robynfalls.bsky.social <3

A portrait of a fox femboy. They have light-brown hair with a black streak in the middle of the bangs, blue eyes and are wearing mostly black and pink. They are surrounded by a bunch of hearts
