Thankfully that doesn't happen... the game just explodes with too many entities.
It's going to be a while until the next update of the Firelink Edition mod, but someone reported that after Maughlin updates his shop, one of the new armor pieces disappear. Apparently I added too many armor pieces, so, when the shop updates, it reaches the item limit and removes the last item.
