I've been working on this Folk Sampler for over a year. It was a 2024 block a week sampler from Art East Quilting.

So relieved to have the blocks come together. I've never had a project like this before. It was a challenge - but we got there!!

Finished hand binding this quilt! I think it's about my 5th ever hand bound quilt in 15 years. I really enjoyed the process & having something to do while we were at breweries.

Maybe it's a new hobby?? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I used the Violet Backpack pattern by Knot + Thread but altered the front pocket. I wanted to keep the star intact.

I feel like we need to re-institute Pandemic Rules. Like, we're in a trade war with fucking Canada, of course you can have a Snickers ice cream bar for breakfast and chug wine from a mug during zoom meetings. The rules are there are no more rules.
