I finished Digimon Story Time Stranger and it was awesome! I feel good about being able to finish it this weekend as I planned. I also feel a little emptiness inside because it's over. I know I can start new game+ but that's not the same.
So this funny thing happened. Digimon Story Time Stranger came out the same day the new The Sims EP did... So I haven't touched The Sims since. And now I'm deep into raising Digimons 😅 So that's why I disappeared again.

Have you ever looking for an objects on the sims 4 only to realize it was from the sims 2 and you remembered wrong? 😅 I spent a couple minutes looking for a specific potty and collecting my thoughts what should I do with the toddlers only to realize I'm thinking in sims 2 😅
The twin's last infant milestone before they grow up, a vacation to Granit Falls.
I had to stop playing for today because after 3-4 hours my game became unplayable, my sims didn't take orders, simulation lag grew unbearable. The last two milestones were interupted and I hope they won't be bugged eternally 😅 I love infants but they are exhausting and I want toddlers already.

Writing is so hard... I'm on my third take of a story and I feel like every rewrite and editing just makes it worse... I shouldn't feel this pressure since I'm writing for myself... But I can't help it, I want it to be perfect. Hitting another writers block...
At least I will have time for Digimon.
I was afraid this to happen, raising twin boys is really hard and they didn't have time for each other. Can't wait for the kids to be toddlers.

Some screenies from yesterday. My baby fever kicked in so just casually raising twin boys in the sims. Btw I noticed they are much more responsive and easier to care for then before. When infants were introduced 3 adults wern't enough to care for twins and now I'm managing fine.

I haven't played the sims in 6 months 😱 I bet I missed some events and I know I missed an expansion pack release. Lately I work a lot so I gave away my laptop to family. I don't want to take away my husband's computer too often. Anyway I'm playing today 😁
Honestly, sometimes writing a story really beats you up emotionally. When the main character struggles with trauma and people just tell her that she needs to do better and just fix herself... convince me writing really works as therapy and I didn't just torture myself for nothing.
The end of this event felt a little rushed and unsatisfying, but overall I really liked it. I'm actually sad that it's already over 😭

Lazlo and Vidcund was watching Emit walk away. What are they gonna do now? Are they completely on their own? Will they ever get home?
The reported back to Emit.
"Oh so the thief only stole some items? Then no harm was really done."
"But... what about the time-space continuum's integrity and that we don't want it to fall apart?"
"Ah that was just some bullshit I come up with..."
"And what about us getting home to our time?"
"So the thief stole those items, to bring them into the future and preserve them!"
"But how are we come into picture?"
"Maybe they were a fan of us at some point in time and we are somehow got erased or forgotten in this timeline."
"Lazlo, be humble"
"I still think the thief is an alien."
Lazlo went to check on the mailbox, although he knew there is no mail delivery on Sundays. But looks like someone was here while they were out in the park. So the thief is close?
The paper was old, yellow and crumbling, like it was sitting in a post-office for decades.
Lazlo went home and tried to activate the time component once again to send the e-mail only to get back an automated response basically saying: I knew you would write so I already sent a letter to you via mail.
Why does the thief choose to use the postal-service? Is the thief so far back in time?
Lazlo reported back to Emit.
E: "That's good that you have the e-mail, but that e-mail address might not work in this timeline. You need to try to send your e-mail through time!"
L: "Is it even possible?"
E:" It's even easier than sending a physical letter, data travels faster and safer."
I just updated my game, not thinking anything of it, didn't read the patch notes so this one caught me by surprise and I love it 👀👀 The little portrait icon when travelling is so good!
Lazlo gave the time-travel chip another try and was able to take control over The Sims Archives and almost catch the time-thief. Well at least he got the thief's info, e-mail address and everything, so they can contact them.
Lazlo gave himself a pep talk.
"Come on, Lazlo, don't be nervous! You are the handiest in this family. You put together well, it won't explode!"
"Can it actually explode?"
"Yes, but... it won't! You won't be the cause of a nuclear apocalypse in a world that is not yours..."
As Emit suggested, they borrowed some equipment from the lab and Lazlo started to overclock the computer before they try to activate the component again.
Lazlo and his borthers went to the park to ask Emit.
"I was expecting that. The component requires much more power! You need a whole nuclear plant to run it, or a few hundred solar panels. Maybe you can... "borrow" some stuff from the lab. I'm sure they have what we need."
The brothers were excited to activate the time travel component to see if it works before they build the whole machine. But their system was not taking it. They had a power outage and all of their computers and elecronics broke. This does not look good.

I just played for a while and someone broke a computer when Lazlo was at work. I was lucky because I wanted to play the scientist career anyway and I didn't have to wait too long until it happened.
I wanted to quickly play through this weeks event, but I fucked up 😂 I used un unbreakable computer to activate the time-chip and now what? 😂 it will take forever to break a computer so I can fix it.... uhh, stupid me... 😭
