LCIS is a research centre which aims to foster, promote and disseminate research on Ireland in a European context. The manifold relations between Ireland and the rest of Europe are investigated by researchers from different disciplines.
Applications for our Irish Studies Summer School remain open until March 31. We run June 15-July 3, with a week introducing Northern Ireland, followed by two weeks exploring key themes in Irish history, the language revival and Irish literature. Info at www.qub.ac.uk/Study/intern...

Yesterday, Dr. Lindsay Janssen taught the MA students on our Irish Literature course all about nineteenth-century Irish-American periodical culture. Weโre very grateful to Dr. Janssen for making the time to contribute her valuable insights to the programme!
