Kinda dizzy and nauseous. I guess inside me are two Poles, one is Pole dancing, the other Pole vaulting.

Trying to get into the Scythe board game online matches, but I gotta say, the app has a really badly designed matchmaking for the playerbase it has, turning it into a waiting simulator.
If you need 150 people in palaeontology, geology, zoology, scicomm and related. And I could list more, but ran out of space!
Bit sick. Started playing Alan Wake. I do enjoy that the game's authors are also contestants in the "piling up as many metaphors and puns as possible in every possible sentence" competition.
Although the sun is currently only a decoration, we celebrate the return of the light. With π¦ birds, of course! www.patreon.com/posts/return...
A watercolor and ink illustration showing three different loon (diver) species, a silhouette in flight, and an egg.
The common loon (called here a great northern diver) is the state bird of Minnesota. It's a symbol of healing and transformation.
In a folktale "The Blind Boy and the Loon," a blind child living with an abusive guardian has their sight restored by a kind bird. See firstarts.ca/content/feat...
I stopped using google docs because I despite them with passion, and switched to using LibreOffice writer.
Not a good choice, it waits in ambush till I forget to compulsively save. Then, of course, it crashes in the WORST possible moment losing me an hour or more of work each time. FML.
Researching for the new book is a never-ending source of cheap chuckles. Looking up herons I expected to see a pantheon of long-necked leg boys... I guess this one just came out of the pool.
Also a perfect reaction pic for any occasion.
a wide herizontal image showing a group of 3 young hatzegopteryz chasing an adult zalmoxes on the beach. The zalmoxes seems to be getting away, as the 3 hunters stumble and about to crash-land into each others.

Grouse calls have many names and descriptions, but the way I see it this bird's voice is the acoustic equivalent of a big toe itch while wearing shoes.

Never underestimate the power of ear plugs in dealing with ADHD spikes, regardless of whether there are distracting noises or not. I just pop in these bad boys, and boom, focused. Then again, I am typing this instead of working, so...
Peas were never an option, I guess...
Ok, I understand nature is crazy, but these are literally just critters. Prove me wrong.
Ahh yes, the glorious feeling of going back to work after a vacation and realizing the last weeks of writing done before the break are thrash cause I lost sight on what I was going for and it's all wargame rules for a fast-paced ttrpg, so I gotta redo the whole fucking thing. Yaaay.

That is all, thank you for your attention.
I try to focus on posting about art and comics and not my complaints about the state of everything but GOOD GRIEF
Today was declawpitation day. Rusi (dog) and Theon (cat-2) took the nail clipping with dignity and received their bacon as a well-earned payment. Talis (cat-1) however, endured her mani-pedi with wounded dignity, and refused the bribe with burning scorn. Either way, nails done.
I just realized that Homeworld is essentially Patapons in space, and I can't ever un-realize that...
We went rock climbing yesterday (indoors, not out on actual rocks), and within the first 20 minutes I managed to sprain by ankle by landing badly on the mattress below.
I'm out of further bouldering for a week or more, but hey - new hobby unlocked! βπ§ββοΈ

I used to have a parrot as a kid, we built towers of toy bricks together and played peekaboo etc... Whenever I read about parrots, cockatoos or similar birds I have an urge to adopt one, but it'd be a bad idea - not only we have two cats, I'm also too much of a hermit to fulfil its social needs.
Researching in English is a ride.
Topic: Australian birb, Site: wikipedia (a good place to start looking for sources to read).
"Culture" section. Cool, I'll get links to papers on Noongar folklore, I think. Nope. First sentence: "The earliest European depiction of a cockatoo..." Eh, rΔce opadajΔ

The dickcissel (spiza americana) read research papers about cardinal bird family, and then made its entire existence about forcing scientists to include "with exception of..." at the end of every paragraph discussing the cardinalidae.
