We're calling on UK Government to ensure that fines on water companies are used to clean up the pollution they cause & restore our waterways💧

Polluters must be made to pay for environmental damage🪙

This must be locked into the Water (Special Measures) Bill👇

Labour tells developers: Pay for pollution and you can build faster A nature and conservation fund will be set up to stop wildlife concerns from blocking new homes

A Nature Restoration Fund to help developers meet their legal responsibilities for nature *could* be positive if it's done well, but it mustn't become a free pass for unsustainable building.

A 🧵of some risks and opportunities.

Green groups back farmers calling on Government to ‘fix’ agriculture sector The Wildlife Trusts and WWF are among numerous bodies who have signed a letter to Environment Secretary Steve Reed raising their concerns.

The Government should pledge more funding for ELM & ensure fair supply chains - key reforms to boost nature, & give stability for farming communities🧑‍🌾

We stand with @the-wildlifetrusts.bsky.social, @wwf-uk.bsky.social & more to back a thriving farming future👇

My daughter devoured the Ruby Redfort series at 11. She also loves Holly Jackson's Good GIrl's Guide to Murder series and absolutely anything by Katherine Rundell with Rooftoppers a particular favourite. My son loved the Malorie Blackman Noughts and Crosses series.
