You know you're going to an exclusive salon when you have to do the haircut and beard trim on separate days from the massage, right? Ha ha.

Yeah, I guess we have different ways of dealing with it. I see all these posts on social media raging about the latest horror show move, and I just can’t. I did so much of it from 2016 on. I feel like none of it swayed one single soul.

I think one can do those things without becoming outraged, which I feel burns a lot of energy and can be detrimental to one’s mental health.

What’s the point of being outraged anymore? Does it accomplish anything?

Anyone ever watch any of the films Bobcat Goldthwait wrote and/or directed? We watched God Bless America last night. It wasn't perfect, but it was different and thoughtful for the most part. Definitely nailed the meanness of our culture, and this was from 2011 - pre-Trump (as president). Thoughts?

I'm old enough to have seen it when it first came out, and I'll admit, back then, it resonated with me. But you're right - I mean besides everything everyone's mentioned, there's a healthy dose of racism and also homophobia in the film. A whole different time!
