In November 2025, the US government proposed four revisions to the Endangered Species Act.
All 4 would reduce protections.

TIGER DEATHS IN THAI TOURIST FACILITIES🐯
72 tigers died in just two weeks at Tiger Kingdom Chiang Mai facilities in northern Thailand. It is suspected feline parvovirus spread quickly in the confined conditions. This tragedy reminds us that wild animals don’t belong in captivity.
SEND YOUR LOVE FOR COCO. 14 year old Coco has been taken into Old Chapel Veterinary Clinic today for Dr. Peter Caldwell to investigate what is either an injury, or possible melanoma, on his hind leg.
Coco was rescued from a circus in Peru in August 2014 and lives at the ADIWS with brother Chino.

Poland, the world’s 2nd largest fur producer, banned fur farming in 2025. The US will now move into the ignominious position of being the 3rd biggest fur producer in the world, killing over a million animals per annum behind China (over 3.5 million) and Russia (over 1.5 million).

The UK Government promised to phase out the rabbit pyrogen test by 2026.
ADI asked the Home Office Animals in Science Regulation Unit to confirm it’s been done.
Their response? “We are on track… an update will be published later this year”.

A ban on bullfighting, Law 2385, promoted by ADI, will commence in 2028 & end the cruelty we have been witnessing. But this battle is not over yet, ADI continues to work to ensure the attempts to overturn the ban are not successful. Please keep supporting this campaign.
Colombia's facing unprecedented flooding following a surge in rainfall. Sadly despite these united, compassionate, life-saving actions, organizers of corralejas (a type of bullfight) pressed ahead with the violence in the heart of the disaster zone.
YAWNING ROLEX. Rolex & sisters Africa & Kiara2 live in the 5 acre Davis Habitat at ADIWS in South Africa. 12 years ago, the three were rescued from the same circus but in two separate raids about 600 miles apart as ADI enforced Peru’s ban on wild animals in circuses.
According to the 2025 IUCN Mammal assessment for southern Africa, 11 species’ threat categories have been uplisted whilst only 3 were downlisted and over 30% are threatened or Near Threatened with extinction.
More must be done to protect these vulnerable species.

LUNA TIPTOES THROUGH THE FLOWERS. When we purchased ADIWS, it had been eroded by farming. We have planted over 200 trees & made sure the wildflowers are allowed to seed. Steadily, they have spread & insects have returned to the land, plus small mammals, reptiles, & more!
