Thatβs spot on. I can recall the ball rolling with that distinctive design.

Yeah Tango is the greatest but I loved that ball too. Someone at school had one. It didnβt have panels though. It was your regular ball with that design painted on.
A few years ago, I wrote about one of my favourite films. Bud Cort RIP.

Yeah, I found them especially annoying to start off with, and also started to feel it was too close to the Celeb version. However, after episode 3, I'm quite into it. Some good moments in that one.
Glad to see he's doing well!

Farage in Scotland: it should make our collective stomachs heave that this repulsive and dangerous extremist has come to spread his poison in our country. Anyone who supports this man is morally in the gutter

I put it on when I was leaving Hayburn last night. Still sounds great. Have a great time Mairi.
Probably three of the top ten Scotland goals of all time there.
That was the greatest Scotland game in a long, long time.

The BBC Archive has just dropped this fantastic 1969 Marty Feldman documentary. youtu.be/S0it6iARj64?...
James Bond prowled the isles of the B&Q like a caged tiger. A caged tiger who had somehow got out of his cage and had gone to his local B&Q with his mind set on buying some really nice shelves. Bond knew who he was. What he did. He wasnβt sentimental about it. He disliked killing but accepted it. It was part of the job. He was an instrument, a sanction, a machine. Cold. Efficient. Like a fridge. But a special fridge. A fridge with a licence to kill. What he did, he did for Queen & Country. But DIY was different. That was all for him. At last, he found the shelves heβd been looking for. They were good shelves. Taught and firm, like good shelves should be. Bond caressed the shelves gently but confidently, like a hunky panther, caressing some shelves. Bondβs mind boggled at the things he could put on the shelves when heβd finished putting them up. A bottle. Some spanners. A badly drawn picture of a dog. The options were limitless. βI see youβre admiring those shelves Mr Bond,β said a womanβs voice. James turned, drinking in the vision before him like a suave ocelot with a thirst on him. She was petite and elegant with elbows in all the right places, right between the upper arm and forearm, allowing her to bend and pivot her arms apparently at will. βYou appear to have me at something of a disadvantage Missβ¦?β βHotspy. Octavia Hotspy. I like a man who can hang a shelf. What say we get out of here so I can go against my employers and help you with your adventure before getting shot about a quarter of the way through the book?β βMiss Hotspy,β said James, taking out his B&Q discount card, βYou read my mind.β
As we've all been talking about Bond today, why not enjoy the opening page of Ian Fleming's classic, "Goldfinger"?
You're welcome. I wrote an article about that visit to Glasgow here - medium.com/rubber-souls...
