Ooh glad to hear! Sounds like she’s in the right place. Sending love
Oh dear! Any update?
Yeah. People are losing their minds for sure.
Thanks, Kendra. I hate it too!! Haha.
You know what causes my depression? Jobs. And people not thinking about other people.
My new job sucks like any job and I’ve had a lot of different ones (mostly customer service) but I do get cursed out every day in this one.
Lmao OPE! Still so cute.
They’re looking so big all of a sudden.
I made yummy colcannon tonight from a recipe my dad sent me. I love that the Irish made it with whatever they had. Connecting to my Celtic roots through food, folklore, herbalism, music, and film, these last few years especially, has been so edifying and enriching.

America hasn’t felt this upside down since I was a child in an internment camp.
Flow is a moving study in quietness, patience, and mystery. I love how it explores found family, loss, grief, environmentalism, and collectivism through animals.
In that place, once again, where I don’t want to reach out to you, or anyone really, if you’re not going to reach out to me similarly.
The nuanced simplicity & slice of life nature of A Real Pain is so refreshing among most of this year’s other Oscar noms that are stylized & huge in scope. Eisenberg shows a grasp of focused plot, realism & emotional timing in his writing. I think it’s a film everyone can see parts of themselves in.
Is everyone going to say Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind because I feel like everyone is going to say Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
He’s a very good student.
Ours does! Can any of coffee shops near there be described that way?
Some of the absolute worst stuff this administration will do is going to be like this. These actions are things that affect the whole world and will have long lasting effects on all humans.
Okay yup, The Substance is the grossest and perhaps most ridiculous film I’ve seen in a while, at least as an Oscar nominee. And hey, I get it and appreciate all of the nods to Lynch, Cronenberg, Jackson, Kubrick, etc but boy, is it unhinged.
Please, please, please join me in contacting your congressional representatives IMMEDIATELY to tell Congress to STAND UP AND ACT.

Putting “Trump declares Pluto a planet again” on my bingo card.
I’m not doing great to be honest. It’s so cold here still, I’ve barely seen friends or loved ones lately and I constantly worry about them, I need a better job, my partner has a cold, and the doom is getting to me. I’m frozen.
I hate being cold! Half of my year living in the Midwest is spent trying to stay out of the cold. It makes my whole body hurt inside and out, and it only gets worse the older I get. I hate it so much! And yet…
I’m finally feeling well enough to start my huge organizing project of our art supplies in our work area. Of course there’s lots of cleaning and going through things too. Look at what I found! 😭
This looks like a pretty good showing for CC.
Them eggs will be worth it I’m sure of it!
Happy Imbolc! May the season bring you inspiration, healing, renewal, and hope! 🕯️
I made my first Brigid’s Cross. I only had a small amount of material but it worked out.
In the Celtic tradition, Brigid’s Cross is believed to protect from fire, evil, and hunger plus bring peace and goodwill.
Oh hell ya.
Thanks, Kendra! I hope you’re all staying healthy over there.
I’ve been sick most of December with unknown respiratory illness and again most of January with Flu A. I can’t believe how much work I’ve missed. I’ve barely left the house for weeks. I don’t know what I’d do without DMing friends or streaming services. I just want to feel ok enough to create stuff.
My crankiest belief is that we are now being sold on solutions to problems which only exist because we've let others convince us they exist. That is what "innovation" seems to be in 2025.
There's a level of introspection that's just not happening these days re: what actually needs to bother us.
