I know folks with similar channel sizes to mine who rarely ever get approached. Often they won't charge you, they'll just be happy with a press copy.

I wonder if an outreach guide from a content creator's perspective would be useful.

Wildsea is lovely, I really like vibrant future settings like that. I'm definitely fond of the setting of blade in the dark, I love victorian magictech worlds 💕

It's a wild west out there for sure. With Deduction, I was like, well I have 100+ folks on itchio, clearly if they're following me there they want to see my stuff, but I'll set my expectations of like a quarter of them actually picking it up... 😅

I always forgot how little follows (on any platform) lead to sales, and this is 100 percent why every release I get disappointed

Even when I think I'm aiming low that bar is so much lower, and I really need to get that into my brain

Deduction is a ridiculously fun, super simple game. It also has road trip potential with a few small tweaks. We spent 90 minutes laughing - it was awesome, I can't wait to play again!

Just know if I'm writing anything like a journal for a ttrpg PC, you are encouraged as a fellow player to steal and read that journal in game 🥰
