I used to buy what was then a cheaper cut -flank steak. It was usually 4.99 at Costco. Yesterday it was 12.99/lb. A hunk of chuck roast steak, the kind you use for pot roast, was $51!! Should we be eating brains?

I know people who’ve traveled to Vietnam and Thailand for dental and medical procedures.

I was on a jury recently and the defendant was so overcharged I thought it would be an easy decision. But no, this group was VERY “law and order” and wanted the defendant hung for what I saw as reasonable situational actions. It opened my eyes to how willing people are to control/be controlled.
