yeah theres a whole bunch of bugs u can do that with (dragonflies, hornets, and centipedes to name a few)

u had me at tug and wrap,,,,,, can be a makeshift blindfold also,,,,,,,

its so funny bc u could even recruit it and fight other ants with it (theres a pvp system in the game). literal chemical warfare

i mean,,,,, it definitely has,,,,, more uses,,,,,,,,

actually i learned abt bombardier beetles from the game pocket ants. now i kinda wanna play it again

although at most itll leave ur skin painfully irritated, u wouldnt wanna try ur luck if u were a smaller bug passing by or a predator hoping to munch on it,,,,

bombardier beetles!! u dont wanna mess with these guys. they store chemical compounds in their bodies that they can combine to form a boiling hot spray that they then expel when threatened or when hunting for prey

the way i grinned bc ik what bug they were talking abt,,,,,

i got stickbugged :D

A tweet from Alix E. Harrow (@AlixEHarrow): got into an argument with my 4yo about whether the word "dragon" starts with a J or a D and now i'm just repeating the word "jragon" to myself wondering why it doesn't sound any different.

So genuinely this fascinated me when I first started working on my own conlang:

J isn't its own sound. It's just a very punctuated version of the French "J" sound (In IPA, ʒ, something like "Zh") trying to imitate a voiced dental plosive (like D).

Which you can hear if you remove the R: [D/J]agon.

what i feel for barok is more like devotion rather than a full blown romantic attraction,,, i think this also explains why to me keibaro have always felt more inclined to express their feelings for each other through actions and words that arent necessarily romantic in nature too if that makes sense
