Any answer other than “the president is a historically stupid man only now he has dementia” is journalistic malpractice
I've been struggling with how to express my dismay at the war coverage by our top newsrooms, and how it dances around the central fact that Trump is deranged and unfit to command. I finally wrote something. Please read it. presswatchers.org/2026/03/the-...
starling (seth rogen): if you could take this survey that would be so awesome. i could get out of your hair before this guy's done jacking off.
hannibal lecter (danny mcbride): motherfucker that's miggs. me and him are boys, so you better watch yourself. i'm behind this glass cause i ate some dudes
This is ART
!?!?
Genuinely, we don’t talk enough about how *dumb* he is. He obviously thinks “clean coal” is some pristine type you can pull out of the ground and he couldn’t explain a tariff given every textbook in the world and an untimed test. Wild how media pretends whatever he says is normal politician speak.
I think Hawke is gonna sneak in and take it.
Chris Murphy: "I Just came from a two hour, closed door classified briefing on the war. It just confirmed to me it's totally incoherent. We are not gonna be able to achieve any of our stated objectives ... this is a disaster of epic proportions, a 10 day debacle"
This is fucking INSANE. One for our history books to explain this god forsaken era.
NEWS — Trump coercing staff to wear the same black pair of shoes that he wears.
“Everybody’s afraid not to wear them,” a staffer said, as some reportedly ditch their own footwear to comply with Trump’s wishes.
We’re officially in the dumbest timeline.
These ignoramuses have spent the last ten years undermining expertise ...They have put all their economic eggs in the basket of AI—a technology seemingly designed to make us stupider.
What happens when a society seeks to eradicate the study of the humanities? That society loses its humanity.
We can vote this privileged moral cipher out of office in November, Ohio.
THEY’RE STILL DOING THIS
AAAHHHHHH
This is nuts.
That Dem consultants told Gov. Walz to stop calling them “weird” still has me miffed.
I just hate knowing about a twist before the movie starts. Let the plot unfold in the way it's meant to!
Do journalism schools not have "how to ask liars questions" courses?
Holy shit this is amazing.
Receipts:
I think Trump is cooked—and it’s helpful for us to say so, repeatedly and often.
Authoritarians use fear to compel obedience. Once people start thinking about what they’ll do once he’s gone, they’re much less likely to obey his commands.
Thanks for the heads up! What is WRONG with these trailer creators? Who's on the fence about seeing a movie until a key plot point is given away? Isn't the OPPOSITE true? (Aren't we less likely to see if we know the plot turn?)
YAY. I'm there opening weekend.

Hey Franklin, I wrote about the problematic history of the Oscars recognizing the work of Black directors, and thought you may enjoy. It’s an important convo that the Oscars discourse has been sadly absent of this year.

This is a great and thoughtful piece, Daniel.
Brian Wilson: I’m going to need 9 years and this list of musical instruments only made in the mountains of Nepal to create my masterpiece, it’s called Goofy Goo Bananas
Every day of life under Trump is waking up to a headline like, “Wyoming is missing”
That book is FANTASTIC.
Can this motherfucker just retire already?
