My Dad asked to read a part of latest nonfiction, and I warned him it placed my grandpa in war, which I haven’t experienced but deeply researched.
Dad is critical of EVERY war movie and depiction for all its flaws so I was nervous to share. He sent this 🥹
It’s #InvisibleDisabilitiesWeek. I have rheumatoid arthritis, celiac and Graves’ disease, all autoimmune. My body constantly aches. Some days, my hands literally will not move. The fatigue is so crushing that sometimes even eating feels an impossible labour. Still, I have so much joy. Writing. Books
