Not trying to turn this into a dump for my experiments but I just find this fascinating. Tried out Hunyuan 3D this time, and it worked out pretty well. Main problems seem to be the general jank around certain areas and the textures being too blurry. #ai #gayai #3D

Just to compare, here's an image from the newly released Qwen Image Edit ver. 2511, which is supposedly the best local image editing model right now. It's actually not too bad at capturing the characters appearance but the visual quality is notably worse. Could work with it with some editing though.

In the earlier vids, it was more blurry because I was trying out a faster sampler but the frames looked a little less "complete" so it had that weird blurry look. That and I might have messed up the workflow
Oops sorry missed this comment. It's a little more complex than just longer gens = better quality because different samplers can give better results at quicker speeds. In this case though, the recommended sampler needs longer gen times to produce the best results.
