10. Chapter
Jyn can hold twenty books but he'll be damned if he can get through one of them.

10. Superstitions
Azrakia's culture has all but been wiped out by the war, but one prominent superstition from ancient times persists: when both moons are dusty yellow, they become the God-Dragon Azrak's eyes, and He will see your every deepest desire. He may even grant one.

8. Beam
Fire will not damage a red kobold, so...

8. Domestication
Besides the usual horses and the like, a unique working animal on Norne is the Embird. Miracle hybrids of phoenix and raven, they make flawless messenger birds, burning up upon delivery to ensure secrecy and rebirthing from an egg they leave behind beforehand.

9. Fight vs. Embrace Fate
Being an adventure comes with an inherent desire to fight one's predetermined fate, if it exists. It's a life of constant change and discovery, where fate can't catch you.
So practically all of my characters would fight their fates, and do so daily.

7. Massive
People call Jyn that a lot.

7. MC and plants
During their ordeals within Sintadil Forest to regain their memories, the party met and helped heal Cici, a dryad.
Tied to the lifespan of specific trees, the dryads are beautiful tree-like women with inate abilities to make plants flourish and bloom.

7. Snippet
Written today - chapter 8 is underway ^_^

6. Pursue
Decisions, decisions.

6. Plant for eating
While it isn't intentionally grown, Azrakia has one thing in abundance: the Oxobi Cactus. It's fruit is delicious and refreshing to a desert-parched throat, but its skin must never be consumed, as it can be used to make the deadliest of assassin's poisons.

6. Free Friday/Good fortune
In the spirit of both, here's a lucky dragon! Have a good day. ^_^

5. Destroy
A bit of exposition worthy of destruction
#MarchWorldbuilders
5. Healing plants
MΓach has a whole satchel full of them, his specialty being...special tea. A five-leaf blend of his own design known as SlΓ‘inte Mhaith, it soothes symptoms of stress and aids in sleep.
"If you're hydrated, rested and calm, then most of my job is already done!"

5. Risks
To gather the knowledge they need to combat their foe, Trikk decides that he and Jyn need to go to the Palatial Repository. Jyn takes a massive risk of being recognised as he re-enters the city he left behind after his perceived failures, leading to many close calls.

4. Media
The word 'media' doesnt appear once in my enormous first novel...huh.
Here's a snippet from the in-world media, the Tsentrian Gazette.
#MarchWorldbuilders
4. Symbolic flower
The symbol of Clan Devastryx is a stylised lotus flower, despite the clan's home within the icy mountains. The lotus therefore symbolises strength and abundance in the face of the harshest conditions and adversity. A fitting icon for their ascetic practices.

4. Luck and fate
Jynrahd doesn't believe in fate, other than that which you make for yourself. Fate can be changed and is never set in stone, until you set it there.
He thoroughly believes in luck, though, and knows that his has been both the worst and the best.

3. Counter
Resting doesnt come naturally to Jyrnahd.
#MarchWorldbuilders
3. Unique fungi
Not in the novel universe, but in the D&D campaign that inspired it, we have the horrifying Gloomycete. An insidious mind-warping mould that can raise the dead and puppeteer the living for it's one purpose: to spread. Left unchecked it can engulf entire forests.
#FantasyIndiesMarch
3. Lies and rumours
When Jynrahd first came to Tsentrin, he was seen as a beast or some alien refugee. As such, rumours spread that he was a cannibal, or planning to invade alongside his people, or that he would bring misfortune by his very presence. All since debunked, happily.

2. 'Most'
The 'most' Jyn has ever pushed, and the most power he's ever given to his inner demons.
#MarchWorldbuilders
2. Unique flowers
Faelady Mirabilis is responsible for many a unique bloom, but most of them are unique to her realm, as she's not one for sharing. One she has shared is the Daydream Daisy, a sweet-scented yellow bloom which physicians use to create medicine for the addled mind.
#FantasyIndiesMarch
2. Guilty pleasures
Jynrahd is a man known for his fixed frown and general no-nonsense demeanour. That being said, he comes from a place where humour was rare, and thus has a severe weakness for bad puns. He's become possibly the youngest ever master of the deadpan Dad Joke.

1. Face
I remember smiling like a loon writing this line.
#MarchWorldbuilders
1. Unique plants
A recent magical mishap at Sintadil College produced the Langleaf. A bright pink tree with a rather alarming trait: It speaks. Sadly it has little to say and spends its time loudly demanding water and various mineral salts the mages only have so much of...

I'm not entirely better, but I know I'm on the way. For now, I can happily say I'm getting back into writing, D&D and my other passions at my own pace. I'm going to start my daily posts again and rejoin the gym. Specifically I want to look into flash fiction. Pointers would be much appreciated!
Hey folks, long time no post.
The reason being that I've been trying to distance myself from social media in the wake of a decline in my mental health. I've been coming to terms with having both autism and ADHD in my own flawed way, with ample support from friends and loved ones.

1. Physical World
The countries the story takes place in are Tsentrin, NΓ³atΓΊn and Azrakia. However they are just three parts of the planet Norne.
A mystical body surrounded by two moons, UrΓ° and Skuld, and a sun, VerΓ°andi, it is thought to be an ancient diety's severed head.
#JanuaryWorldbuilders
23. Soliders' food/medicine
Tsentrin has the infirmaries and canteens expected of a fantasy city. Azrakia, though, was short on resources. Soldiers were treated relatively well by virtue of they were given enough food to not wither, and the paltry attention of a cleric.
