Wars don't just impact soldiers, the consequences ripple out into everyone and everything; they hit us at the gas pump and the grocery checkout, while the real bill is paid in blood. Oil shocks from this conflict mean higher gas prices almost literally overnight, and rising energy and fertilizer costs drive up the price of bread, milk, your choice of protein, and of course, eggs. But let’s be clear: a few extra dollars at the pump or the register are small change next to the cost of the lives destroyed in a feckless, reckless, senseless war that treats people as disposable line items on the president's balance sheet The time to elect leaders who stand up for working families is now, and it has never been more urgent.

The latest report shows 92,000 jobs lost, and unemployment has risen to 4.4%. Gas prices are climbing amid instability in Iran; and rising utility costs, driven in part by AI energy demand, are hitting families hard.

Today was my grandson Elio's 2nd birthday. I spent the day with my family, and I had a wonderful time. My family is my motivation for running for Congress - I want to represent all families in the Lowcountry, hardworking parents, and the children who deserve the best start in life.

Nancy Mace voted YES on the SAVE Act requiring documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote. This will disenfranchise eligible voters who don’t have passports or matching birth certificates. Non-citizen voting is already illegal.
