Millions of people in the UK are still digitally excluded - and it’s a big deal.

Through the National Digital Inclusion Network, we work with amazing local community organisations to change that.

Digital inclusion matters - and we’re here to make it happen.

As we look to our next strategy period, we're considering what we've learnt from the last three years. It’s time to treat digital access as a fundamental right, not a privilege.

The dial isn’t moving fast enough. We can’t accept a future where people are left behind. We need to make sure that digital inclusion is baked in, not bolted on.

This is our focus for the next three years.

Digital exclusion isn’t just a personal challenge - it’s a public policy issue, blocking access to crucial opportunities like work, healthcare, education, and essential services.

Key barriers include:

- Affordability of devices or data
- Digital skills gaps
- Lack of support

Many essential services have moved online now, making things like accessible healthcare a barrier to those who are digitally excluded.

Without access, connectivity or confidence, people could be locked out of their own healthcareπŸ”’
