My father passed away very suddenly last Saturday. Business as usual one minute and in cardiac arrest the next. He was likely gone before EMS got to the house.

I get yelled at for saying this but for many hundreds of years people went to university not to get diplomas or be employable but because immersion in the humanities was considered foundational to a good life, and school must return to its original purpose: the joy of learning.
I like to sit on my couch and read my Kindle before bed, but every time I sit down to do it, Enzo gets too excited about being able to cuddle and punches me into the face.

hi this is absolutely not funny BUT I really wish that I had a good enough poker face to pull a Donald Trump when asked a question and just... stare into the middle distance and pontificate word salad for an unnecessarily long amount of time instead of giving an actual answer.
I have dated some SILLY LOOKIN' dudes and personally was down bad for Graham the entire time 😹 but I caught an interview where Kaliane Bradley notes there's no photo in the US edition and this was the only explanation I can think of lol
