I don’t know how long this is going to take me to finish, I’ve been so inconsistent and lost the additional skeins for it for about a year. One day it’ll be done, hopefully before my niece doesn’t care about blankets anymore

Been difficult convincing my brother he needs to eat. He lost 12-13 lbs in a month and his nurse told him he may not be able to gain it back due to the kind of cancer he has.
He begins to resent my regular pushing of food
Took my honey to a fancy fundraiser tonight and thoroughly enjoyed the occasion
My brother has a brain tumor and is bored living with me so any time a solicitor walks by, he engages them in lengthy conversation. He has aphasia though so I don’t know how much they understand of what he is saying
At the vet with my grumpy cat Morris getting his blood drawn. I’m at the stage of his life where I’m doing just enough treatment to keep him happy and comfortable without trying to cure him of the maladies of the aging cat.

Had a conversation with a woman from my past yesterday and she acknowledged how badly I was treated by mutual acquaintance. I didn’t realize she knew but her comment was heartfelt and I feel so relieved.
Someone saw and agreed with me. I feel like I can finally move on from my anger.
My daughter and I are so good with each other. When either has been grumpy or needing space, we’ve practiced it being perfectly ok to say so. Then we honor that for the other.

So frustrated today.
I like the kids menu portion sizes in many restaurants. Glad to see they’re introducing smaller meals, hopefully more areas of the country will embrace the trend.

My smart watch lies and says I sleep well when I know for a fact I do not.
Had to get up twice in the night to give my brother his pain meds. I slept fitfully between my alarms. Still got a sleep score of 82.
And they want me to transfer all his other meds to them. Don’t think so!!

It’s an absolute mess. I had to emphasize his condition several times to give them any sense of urgency

Dry needling hurts because the needles go into tender spots on the body. I had it for a tendon injury in my arm today, definitely made me jump in pain a couple times

I’m slowly learning what my niece’s food preferences are. Nothing too creamy, so no butter chicken but tikka masala is good.
The butter chicken was creamy deliciousness though. Too bad she doesn’t like milk in her food.
I’ve been bored most of the weekend and now I am resisting the urge to buy something just to have a little expectation of joy. Even having my brother living here, it’s still lonely.
He sleeps most of the day now. Hoping his tooth extraction will make a positive difference for him #cancersucks
I’m watching the MLV Rise v Vibe game and I love the energy the play caller brings. He’s calling volleyball for the radio and for TV so he is especially descriptive and enthusiastic
