The @getdweb.net planning unconference by @archive.org and @dod.ngo on board of @c-base.org started. Lot's of great people around. Beautiful weather (so we will do some sessions outside at the river).
If you want to understand why this nonsense with Anthropic and
Hegseth is so important, go read @daniel-suarez.comβs βKill Decisionβ book from 14 years ago:

The @getdweb.net Camp Unconference day at

what matters most to me are the privacy, local-first aspects and that it's open source... sadly they seem to have changed the license of their apps to source available/only oss for non-commercial? but the proto is still MIT
Also, just FYI I love Anytype! It's so pretty and fun to use and local first and all the good things π I'm just concerned because it kind of locks you in and there is no possibility to have guest access for single docs/databases/pages as of now iiuc?
Is Anytype.io still the best open-source Notion alternative? I'm looking for something database-driven and collaboration-focused for team / project management and more, so please no suggestions like obsidian or fileverse etc that are lacking those features. Lmk if I'm missing out on anything cool! π
Today, we are publishing our first Transparency Report.
Financial and organizational transparency is a core value for us: public-goods stewardship must be grounded in openness, traceability, and clear responsibility.
Looking forward to attending @fosdem.org this week! Who else is there? I'll mostly be around the Decentralized Internet and Privacy Devroom on Sunday, but shill me other good sessions pls π₯³
I just signed the Trustless Manifesto! π
"Trustlessness is the foundation.
Everything else is construction on top of it.
The designs will change. The principles will not."
I know I'm late to the party but if you haven't read it yet - please do so!
