I think finding tons of tools made in the UK and France is easy, but they can hide good gems made in some European countries less "tech famous".

Ah! And another reason to pick country over categories is that I fear mixing tools from different origins in the same category, that some countries will "crush" the visibility of others. I want to create more serendipity.
Also, I was thinking of expanding this repository for European-based tech jobs or European-based tech events or something else and also extracting data analysis one day from it. So a country organization makes more sense then.
But there are also tools that are tricky to put in a specific category. Either the tool has expanded its features, can match several categories, can pivot...

Originally, I only had a list for made-in-France tools. Then I wanted to add Portuguese-made ones, and so naturally came up with the per-country structure.
I'll think about it. Maybe it makes more sense indeed.
