Hey…thanks for asking. I’m just trying to find a way to stay off the streets. Homeless and chronically ill…with pets…is completely untenable. I turned my cats over to an emergency foster program, to be “safe” and one of them promptly died. I’m bereft and, have not much to live for, unfortunately.

I hear your words, and they make sense. But, I’m a homeless 58 year old woman, who became homeless because I became chronically ill. I am staring down the likelihood of being on the streets, in Ottawa, in March. “Feels like Spring” doesn’t help me one bit when I’m sleeping in a snowbank.
