You can hardly expect principle-free charlatans, only interested in repeating what they perceive to be most popular, to be consistent surely? They will say whatever they belive gives them an advantage, truth, country, patriotism etc., be damned.
AFAIK there are no hospital left in Gaza. The West seems not to care, so this is unlikely to bother the U.S. or Israel.

Human decency requires that protection is protection, not limited to 'as soon as we can kick you out again'. We are either a compassionate state or we do the bare minimum required by law. If Mahmood promotes the latter, my vote will go elsewhere, for the 1st time in 4 decades.
