As a vtuber who has hovered around 5 viewers for my entire 5 years as a streamer... I've had to learn to enjoy when they chose to interact with me and just be happy when people show up at all. People come and people go, just be happy they came and leave it at that.🤷♀️
Even my 'local' (hour away) LGBT+ clinic which is a small satellite branch of a larger clinic network in my state won't do under 19 trans care anymore, because they require fed funding. So we need another way to fund these places and not set them up for failure.🤷♀️
Not generally in one of the wealthiest places in the world, that happens more in my neck of the woods. I'm suggest the solution is not forcing existing hospitals to play 'rock and a hard place'. I'm suggesting the solution is some alternative for care...
You do realize private equity owns most hospitals don't you? The moment those hospitals lose federal funding their owners will scrap them rather than keep them running. The city or state government demanding they stay open will mean nothing. The government would need to run them instead to do that.

I'm saying we need another option then 'force them and watch the hospital go away' or 'not force them and no one gets HRT'.
Let me put it this way instead: "In a time when we need every ally we can get, how about we don't call someone an enemy without giving them a chance to prove themselves one?"
...Until they turn 19 because no one locally can offer them care. Not the regular hospitals and not the LGBT+ clinic. No one. Because they all get federal money and can't do without it. & my state doesn't have a law like NY does, so the state just doesn't care.😩

I also no exactly how bad this is. I'm a board member of my local trans organization and we have younger trans people telling us now that they can't get care...

So he needs a specific plan and he can't really talk about that plan until they take steps to implement it or they give the government time to come up with ways to counter their plans.
They clearly aren't at that point yet, and so remain silent on their plans.🤷♀️
I think the problem, for him, is how to square the circle. The courts may try to limit the federal government in what actions they can take, but Trump's admin doesn't listen to the courts. Extending out how long they can just do whatever they threaten and it could kill the hospital in the meantime.
So do they lose a hospital system entirely to make a point and no one gets care, or do they work on alternatives? Like facilities not keyed into the existing health networks and so don't get massive federal funding that can be removed.🤷♀️

The problem he's facing (& the state) is that the federal government has said they will pull all funding from these places if they continue GAC for 'minors'. Neither the city nor state can make up that funding. So we have an issue...

I'm not mutilated or 'mutilzed' if you can't speak English. Gender Affirming Care is something Trump and almost all his staff have gotten. It's hair transplants, it's nose jobs, it's literally anything and everything that affirms your gender. I don't want to hear one word from them about it.
