I get it. I'm the parent of a disabled adult and I see some other parent carers who are making bad decisions on behalf of their adult children. There were also things some tried when they were little, which are now known to cause harm, like ABA. I didn't use it, but I know people who did.

You'd probably enjoy Joe Tasker's books, but I can tell you from first hand knowledge, he wasn't privileged. He was my godfather's brother and they were very much a poor working class family. But then he did it before it became fashionable.

As a little shortarse of a human, I would appreciate it very much if tall people allowed me to stand in front of them. You might be about a foot further from the stage, but we'd both be able to see, and I would appreciate the kindness of the tall person. Being nice costs nowt.

Not only that, but the hostile administration of benefits has hiked the bill by millions. People are being awarded what they are entitled to after long, drawn out battles with assessments, mandatory reconsiderations and tribunals, if they got it first time, it wouldn't cost half as much.

I just get the frames I like, within my budget. Not bothered about the logos. I've had Pepe, Vera Wang, Revlon, Kylie and Ray-ban, among others. Who cares? I choose the ones that I like when I try them on, I wouldn't pick a pair just for the label if I looked stupid in them.
