In other words, Tron is mostly for those generations not the current one. Honestly, I'm really happy to see something new for my generation. :)
It depends on which generation you're talking about. Gen X and older millennials grew up on Tron. When Tron: Legacy came out it was a huge deal to see it again. It was nostalgic. And yes we're excited to see Tron: Ares in 2025.

This app sucks. It's boring and it's hard to be discovered. I only have it so I can claim my username.
I am seeing children (20-somethings and younger) questioning "wtf the Tron series is" and "Why do people love it?" or "Do people remember it?".
My answer is that I am absolutely sorry that you didn't grow up with Tron at all. I am so sorry that you don't understand what great art is.
Think about it: Tron has never left his digital world and gone to the Sora's world or the real (fictional) world.
But when someone else shows up instead of Tron, Sora wouldn't be asking where he is. In fricking Quadratum.
Can we talk about about how Tron: Ares could work in Kingdom Hearts 4??? The Tron world entering the real world (Quadratum) or the KH world. I can't be the only one thinking this. There's no way I thought of this before the KH theorists.
