Update day!
Ah damn the $15 price for No Sleep for Kaname Date is only on Steam. May still check if my PC can actually run it but will probably just continue to wait for a cheaper console price.
Not playing Pokopia (yet!) but I did the same thing as Kris when I played DQ Builders, I did not make a single attractive-looking structure in that game.
Beat my all-bosses run of Elden Ring! The base game anyway, still got the DLC to do. Radagon and the Elden Beast continue to ruin my life every time I play this game. I know Malenia has a reputation as the hardest boss in the game pre-DLC but I have such a harder time with Radabeast compared to her.
Ended my Elden Ring session today standing right in front of Malenia's boss door. The first time I fought her I was about 50 or so rune levels higher than I am this time, so it'll be interesting to see how tough this fight is when I'm not buffed up from doing the DLC first.
I gotta make time to check this out, Citizen Sleeper x Ace Attorney is a pitch designed in a lab to appeal to me specifically.
M is for maybe this starts with an m N is for next letter, and that one's an n E is for easy, like spelling this word M is for magpie, the stealingest bird O is for only three more letters to go N is for nearly there, you mnemonic pro I is for imminent, this poem's end C is for congratulations, my spellingwell friend
If you are unsure of how to spell mnemonic, here is a handy mnemonic:
I think the Subterranean Shunning Grounds in Leyndell may be my least favorite area in Elden Ring's base game. Basically every deeply annoying enemy type all in one place plus all the circuitous, same-y paths make it such a pain to navigate.
I will always be there with bells on for an Ally Beardsley appearance!
Been having enough fun doing this that I might consider doing Bloodborne after I finish Elden Ring. Also kind of hankering for a new-to-me Soulsborne game but I feel like going backwards to Dark Souls won't be enjoyable for me, so I may look into which ones made by other devs are considered good.
Continuing to make steady progress on my Elden Ring all bosses run. Finished Ranni and Fia's quests over the weekend as well as clearing almost all of the underground except for beating Mogh. I have one Liurnia boss and two Gelmir bosses left, then Lyndelle and the snowfield to go after that.

Everybody knows about the Wii shopping channel and everybody loves to shop on it every Wednesday
Can't believe Yoko Taro is gonna make that sad boy get in the robot again
And that's to say nothing of the fact that there are probably all kinds of other really interesting outcomes that I'll have to see by revisiting the chapter with different skills and different choices and priorities! I think for today I want to let the ending I got settle but I know I'll be back.
I'm really curious too how the game's eventual finale will influence things. A choice from early in my playthrough that I really regretted ended up paying off in a way that I think made the chapter 5 ending even more impactful for me. Seeing the whole picture adds so much texture.
I'm so happy with how my playthrough wrapped up, and really impressed with the story that the devs are weaving. It feels like the choices you make in the game truly build a custom path and outcome focused on what you've told the game is important to you.
Few things are as satisfying as a really solid writing session!
Just finished Scarlet Hollow chapter five and I'm not sure how the hell I am supposed to be normal for the rest of the day after that.
It's been awhile since the last time I did any cognitive behavioral therapy and it always amazes me when I come back to it how the list of cognitive distortions reads like someone was given a writing prompt to describe my brain. I'm not sure I ever have thoughts that don't meet one of the criteria.
Reminder to future me to check out the demo for this
The pronoun labeler, which was by far the most useful labeler on the site, was deleted by its creator. But thanks to @ripperoni.com there’s a new one available. I highly recommend it. It’s a great way to share your pronouns or see someone else’s pronouns at a glance.

Each weekend when I have time and opportunity to play, I've been working through my first all-bosses run of Elden Ring. So far I've done all the non-quest bosses in Limgrave, Liurnia, and the Altus outskirts, planning to head to Caelid next. It's been fun revisiting and exploring the parts I missed.
