Today, we reached an agreement with Israel to expand humanitarian access to Gaza.
This deal means more crossings open, aid and food trucks entering Gaza, repair of vital infrastructure and protection of aid workers.

Europe is here to help: the EU’s civilian border mission deploys today to the Rafah Crossing at the request of the Palestinians and the Israelis.
It will support Palestinian border personnel and allow the transfer of individuals out of Gaza, including those who need medical care.

The #FAC Council agreed to redeploy #EUBAMRafah, the EU civilian border assistance mission, to support Palestinian border personnel.
Reopening the #Rafah crossing in Feb. enables the passage for injured individuals out of #Gaza.
