According to Alex P. from @thecosmiccircus.com, the Young Avengers will probably meet up during the Avengersβ films, which will in part adapt the Childrenβs Crusade comic storyline β before heading into their own solo project!

Posting the only fic I have ever written, I wrote it on a whim trying to convince my friend to watch the show. Kinda feels fitting for it to be a Buddie fic π€·ββοΈ

I might do more of these for the rest of the season or even other shows if people like them. This is just my take on it with what I know about color psychology and my experience with coming to terms with my sexuality, other people may view it differently than me.
-To sum up my analysis on Eddie this episode, we see Eddie going from being hesitant to choose the fruity drink even though he wants it, to then taking off his disguise, and finally we see him coming to terms with everything heβs suppressed, and the part of him he hid deep down. Eddie realizes that-
-for a very long time. Add his catholic guilt on to that, you can infer that he was suppressing his queer identity, the shaving of his mustache, symbolizes that heβs come to terms with it and allowing his self to be free with it, allowing it to come to surface and feel comfortable with it. -
-differently and experiencing an inner peace.
Now onto the pink shirt. Pink is often associated with queer identity, healing, and playfulness. We see Eddie being playful, dancing around in his shirt, having a good time. I think heβs healed something deep within himself, something he suppressed -
-straight.
Now onto the mustache. Eddie and the hot priest have a conversation in which the priest implies and states that the mustache is a disguise, you can see Eddie take that in. Cut to when Eddie shaved it off, he radiates a new sense of belonging, you can see he is carrying himself-
-whereas juice is fruity and sweet. Fruity is often a term to reference someone being lgbtq+, as we know Eddie has long been theorized to be gay. This hesitancy is Eddie not willing, or rather, not ready to admit and/or accept that part of himself, so he chooses the standard, in this case itβs -
- the hesitancy to choose juice, and the importance of wearing pink after shaving his mustache.
First letβs look at the juice vs water. Eddie wants the juice and reaches for it, but he hesitates and picks water instead. Water is the most basic drink you can go for, itβs the βstandardβ plain drink -
-Eddie going on but thatβs besides the point, Buck shed that last layer and now heβs experiencing full independence and we, as an audience, can see that heβs no longer being summed up by his relationships.
Now onto Eddie.
In this episode we see Eddie go through it, the shaving of the mustache, -
-can be many things, but for now, I believe it references his independence AND an incoming realization.
To sum up everything about Buck this episode, by shedding the layers of breakup green, Buck is experiencing more and more independence, not to say he doesnβt have a codependent thing with -
-skin, this is the last layer. Now onto the color, green can mean a plethora of things but we can infer, in this instance and through the specific shade, it references independence. This green is not a bright in your face neon green, itβs dark, which is more calming and implies growth. That growth -
-this color, the relationship has ended. The breakup Buck was originally a sweatshirt, it evolves into a long sleeve/sweater, and now itβs a tshirt, which we can infer it references this being his last breakup before his endgame, because heβs shedding the layers like an onion or a snake sheds itβs-
Hereβs my color psychology take and analysis on last nights 9-1-1 episode, itβs going to be long so bear with me.
Letβs start with Buck:
In this episode we see Buck wearing a specific shade of green, we will call this breakup green, every time Buck has been in a relationship and heβs worn this -
