That was Roman's way of saying that Bernard may not be staying within his ranch, but Roman wouldn't know that now.

"Where were you headed towards, anyway?"

At least Roman had seasoning, he's very conservative with he how manages to eat his portions right without running out of food. Especially with the condiments and seasoning, he has plenty of it.

"Rest your ankle, son. It ain't hard to make beef stew. It'll be done in about 20 minutes. In the -

Sadly, now I have to head on over to a plug that I know of and get the gas. A slight inconvenience, but at least I know the guy. However, clearly means that -

"Gonna bap the shit outta ya."

"At least once every two weeks, I fly out to remote locations and hunt for food. Depending on the spot, if I'm lucky on that day? I return with weeks worth of premium food."

Roman didn't have too much, but he had enough to suffice for himself for many months and years to come.

Once again, Roman booped the yokai on the nose with his finger.

"None of that! Only positive thoughts from here on out!"

"I oughtta be strong at this point! I don't wake up every day to get in my workout not to do this."

Roman chortled as he started to walk while dragging the sled behind him through the snow.

"I hope you like this expereince, might teach you some stuff if you're out here alone in the future!"

And that's all Roman needed to hear, those guns shots posed a really bad threat on the saftey on whoever was inside.

He goes in front with his magnum drawn, he watched the other goons getting reafy to storm in, that's when Roman intervened.

"Oh no you don't!"

He humored, soon as he got up, he goes over to his open kitchen where Bernard can still see him.

"I know you gotta be hungry. I was about to make some beef stew if you want a platter?"

- to "protect" the society they "built" ended up destroying it further.

"Damn shame, all I can say about that. Wrong place at the wrong time, that girl was in the right for defending herself, unfortunate you took the blow.

But hey, least you're on your feet still! Well, not literally for a day -

Once Roman saw the wound, he immediately winced and shook his head, at least not heavily. He knows all about this climate, and it was sad that society completely collapsed instead of working together to overcome this this tragedy.

Yet, it wasn't surprising, especially how most people who wanted -

Roman would have his snow shoes on, walking in front of the truck after locking it and dragging a sled behind him with all of their things.

"I should be good, I personally like doing this because it gives me a workout! Now follow me, it should take use a few miles till we reach our spot!"
