I just had a call with an immigration lawyer and an appointment on Thursday. Reform is literally threatening my ability to stay in the U.K. after 20 years and six years of settled status. But they also means I’ll be able to vote against those fuckers.

Self-edit of book 2 in the trilogy is done and the book has joined the queue for my editor. Now jumping into plotting/outlining book 3, which is mostly about collecting all my scraps and notes and “maybes” and turn it all into a definitive outline.
Former employer is looking for an editor. First thought: “Oh, who quit/died? Maybe toxic boss?” Second thought: “Poor fucking bastard applying for and getting that job. That team is so toxic it needs a cement coffin like Chornobyl.”

Did an hour of cardio today after yesterday’s hardcore weightlifting session. Everything aches, but I did it. Have set an ambitious goal by end-2025 in order to get ready for an operation.
We need to see the EU tariff as imposed by Trump in the context of the US dollar dropping 10-12% since the “yay, Trump will be great for the economy” exuberance. EU goods are now 25% more expensive than they were in Jan/Feb 2025. And almost half of that is people doubting the US dollar’s strength.

It’s M/M romance and all books deal with healing from trauma and maintaining/finding your own identity despite family and societal pressures. I hope to have the first cover soon. :)
