We're updating this story after a new court filing. The Utah attorney general's office said barring Utah Valley from the WAC tourney would be an "overt violation" of the court's injunction. Also, they're awaiting details on where/how to deposit the $1M.

The Dolphins are signing former Packers QB Malik Willis, sources tell The Athletic.
MSU is fortunate they didn’t throw him out of the game for that given he did the same BS thing in another game.
Sunday Read: The testing numbers out of the NFL Combine were stunning. Almost everyone ran and jumped ridiculously well, but here’s who we think are the real gems of the 2026 draft crop: www.nytimes.com/athletic/708...
Navy DT Landon Robinson—No. 13 on the Freaks List in 2025–had a superb showing at his pro day. The 5-11 1/4, 293-pounder (he arrived at Navy at 240) ran a 4.87 40 w/ a 1.65 10. He also verticaled 32.5 inches, ran a 4.48 shuttle & did 30 reps on the bench: www.nytimes.com/athletic/652...
“There’s value to that.” Andrew Luck shares a lot of wisdom and has some great perspective about youth sports, development and the benefits of running the 300-meter hurdles and coming in last. #TheAudible m.youtube.com/shorts/xnKrJ...

Miami DL Rueben Bain Jr. did more to change the culture of a Canes program that had been spinning its wheels for almost two decades until he decided to stay home. But he’s gonna be one of the more polarizing prospects in this draft bc of his arm length: www.nytimes.com/athletic/708...
This is a really smart episode. Well done, Godfrey.
This is a good tease. We may steal it--"which SEC coach or AD would @ralphdrussoath.bsky.social like to throw down a well..."
In Max Iheanachor, a former HS basketball player born in Nigeria who moved to the U.S. at 13; and Treydan Stukes, a former walk-on who ran a 4.33 40 with a 1.50-second 10-yard split, ASU and Arizona produced two of the Combine’s best stories: www.nytimes.com/athletic/708...
What do NFL folks really think about Rueben Bain’s short arms; the edge guy NFL D-line coaches are higher on than draft analysts; and why Cooper DeJean isn’t actually the comp for Dillon Thieneman;

New Audible: Who Will Be Coaching Your Team in 2030?Stew & I discuss @ralphdrussoath.bsky.social predictions for who’ll be the head coach of every Power 4 program 5 years from now. Plus, my stories from the Combine: m.youtube.com/watch?v=OuKx...
The point was, when he was coming out of HS he committed to a program that was D2, not FCS. I think they also played some non-FCS programs in his first season in college. It's not a knock on Lindenwood. Great on them for IDing him and giving him a chance out of HS.
Very curious to see how Alabama OT Kadyn Proctor does today. Came in at 6-6 1/2, 352. He weighed 366 last offseason when he was No. 2 on the Freaks List after he vertical jumped 32 inches; broad jumped 9-3; squatted 815, power cleaned 405 and benched 535: www.nytimes.com/athletic/652...
Cincy WR Jeff Caldwell, who began his career at D2 Lindenwood, had a remarkable Combine. At 6-5, 216, he ran a 4.31 40 with a 1.48 10; verticaled 42 inches and broad jumped 11-2. Last year he broad jumped 11-9. He also measured an inch TALLER at the combine: www.nytimes.com/athletic/706...
You're right. I left off the word began... It's still early here on the West Coast. Thanks, Scott
Was told Arkansas RB Mike Washington Jr would really shine at the Combine. He just ran a blistering 4.33 40 at 223 pounds. Was No. 20 on our Combine Freaks List:
