Just posted my thoughts about Bob Dylan's Ballad of a Thin Man over on P@tre*n. It's all about the difference between prettiness and beauty.
Happy Imbolc! Celebrating with candles and ancient music the turn back toward the light.
I guess I've really gotten somewhere with this writing thing when I find that I need to cite one of my own previous books in the bibliography to the one I'm currently writing. The Maplehurst Murder is starting to take shape!
Having fun reposting my series of music love letters, the Classics of the Week, over on P!A@T#R$E%O^N. Latest one up talks about the magical fractal deflections of François Couperin's "The Mysterious Barricades."

Wow, what a great shot.
And another. And another. And another. And an...

The problem with clearing my mind and getting a little rest, is that ideas for new projects immediately pop up in the void of silence, temptations beckoning me towards new adventures...
Got the first thousand words of my next book written tonight. "The Maplehurst Murder" is underway. Coming September of 2025 from The History Press.
