My assignment for Winona Nelson's SmArtschool class: Choose a favorite book and illustrate a cover for it.

I picked "The Song of Achilles" by Madeline Miller, and my goal was to capture a similar bittersweet tone as the novel has.

The true wonder of biology is diversity. Some only see black and white, but light holds arrays of colours that can never be perfectly categorised. Just because you can't see doesn't mean it's not real. I found it really sad to see something so beautiful used to justify bigotry.

The kind of people i found so frustrating are the ones who only know simplified biology and are so confident that it is the entire absolute truth, so eager to spew hatred on anything they don't understand.

The boundaries between species are fuzzy and have always been debated, even the line between what is alive and what isn't is not as clear cut as people thought. Biological sexes are nuanced and complicated, just like everything else in the natural world.

ว่าด้วยความระยิบระยับวันนี้

King's Parade, Cambridge, watercolour and Indian ink. This lovely jumble of buildings including half-timbered frontages is deservedly famous and long may it survive! The shop on the left is Hardy and Amies, Club Outfitters. The railings on the right are in front of the Senate House. I don't know who has this painting now (it was probably sold in an exhibition). Now in my late '70s I'm afraid I no longer have the stamina to sit and do work like this on the street! I'm more likely to be painting in the garden or working in the studio.

รวมงาน 2025 ฮะ ต้นปีเป็นงานวาดเล่นซะส่วนใหญ่ หลังๆเริ่มมีลูกค้าจ้าง ดีใจที่ตัวเองได้เริ่มวาดรูป กล้าอัพรูปลง ออกจากเซฟโซนตัวเอง ทำให้มีคนเห็นงานเรา จากตอนแรกคิดว่าใครจะมาจ้าง แต่ก็มี!! หวังว่าปีนี้จะมีงานและโอกาสดีๆเข้ามาเรื่อยๆ ชั้นจะคว้าไว้ให้หมด จูจูพึ่งเริ่มต้น

ปี 2025 เสียเงินไปกับการแต่งตัวน่าจะหลายสิบพัน เลิกนับดีก่า มีความสุขก็พอ คิกค้าก ปี 2026 เอาอีกนะ

However, here he has ventured into the world of spirits. It was believed that on New Year's Eve all the foxes of the surrounding provinces would gather at a particular tree near Oji Inari Shrine, the headquarters of the regional cult of the god Inari. There the foxes would change their dress for a visit to the shrine, where they would be given orders for the coming year. On the way, the animals would emit distinctive flames by which local farmers were able to predict the crops of the coming year.” (Brooklyn Museum)
